75. Resurrection

In the name of God, the All Gracious, the All Merciful

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

5550 2807 505 453 1	لا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ I swear by the Day of Resurrection.
5551 2808 506 454 1473 2	وَلا أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ And I do swear by the blaming soul.
5552 2809 507 455 1474 3	أَيَحْسَبُ الإنْسَنُ أَلَّنْ نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ Does the human being think that We will not collect his bones?
5553 2810 508 456 4	بَلَى قَادِرِينَ عَلَى أَنْ نُسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ Yes indeed, We are able to reconstruct his finger tips.
5554 2810 509 457 1475 5	بَلْ يُرِيدُ الإنْسَنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ But the human being only wishes to do the most wrong.
5555 2811 510 458 6	يَسْأَلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ He asks; when is the Day of Resurrection?
5556 2812 511 459 1476 7	فَإِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُ Then when the eyes are overwhelmed by the light,
5557 2813 512 460 8	وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ And the moon is eclipsed.
5558 2814 513 461 9	وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ And the sun and the moon are expired,-
5559 2815 514 462 10	يَقُولُ الإنْسَنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ -the human being will say on that day; is there an escape?
5560 2816 515 463 1477 11	كَلا لا وَزَرَ Absolutely, no place is safe.
5561 2817 516 464 12	إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُسْتَقَرُّ Only to your Lord, on that day, will be the final destiny.
5562 2818 517 465 1478 13	يُنَبَّأُ الإنْسَنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ The human being will be informed on that day what caused him to advance and regress.
5563 2819 518 466 14	بَلِ الإنْسَنُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ The human being will fully see his own soul.
5564 2820 519 467 15	وَلَوْ أَلْقَى مَعَاذِيرَهُ No apologies will be accepted.
5565 2821 520 468 16	لا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ Do not move your tongue to hasten it.
5566 2822 521 469 1479 17	إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ Indeed it is Us who collects it and makes it a Quran.
5567 2823 522 470 18	فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ Then once We recite it to you, you shall then follow such a Quran.
5568 2824 523 471 1480 19	ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ Then indeed it is Us who explains it.
5569 2825 524 472 20	كَلا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ Absolutely, you love this fleeting life.
5570 2826 525 473 21	وَتَذَرُونَ الآخِرَةَ And neglect the Hereafter.
5571 2827 526 474 22	وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاضِرَةٌ Some faces on that day, will be happy.
5572 2828 527 475 1481 23	إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ Looking towards their Lord.
5573 2829 528 476 24	وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَاسِرَةٌ And some faces, on that day, will be sad.
